Fire Crews & EMS Searching for Missing Pike Twp. Child


Fire crews and law enforcement are searching throughout Pike Township for a missing child.


He is 11 years old and his name is Perry Beller. He has been missing since 4:00 or 5:00 a.m. Thursday, June 22.


Perry is described as "outdoorsy." He loves to climb and run. He is an excellent climber.


He has also been known to run away from home. He left home on Memorial Day and was found in North Hampton, a distance of about 5 miles) four hours later. He can travel quite well in the rural environment of Pike Twp.


Rescue personnel from throughout Clark County and many surrounding counties are assisting in the search. A total of about 40 people are involved in the search.


Rescuers are requesting that anyone living in Clark, Miami or Champaign Counties search their property for Perry. Look in trees, outbuildings, anywhere a child could be hiding.
